The Versatile Akita title is to encourage Akita owners to work with their dogs in many ways, not just stick to a single activity. To encourage breeding Akitas with soundness of mind and body and to become the wonderful companions we know them to be capable of.

QUALIFICATIONS

CGC, TDI, TC, VAX

1. The Versatility/Working Dog Certificate requires a minimum of 10 points with one point from at least 2 of the first 9 categories. One extra point will be awarded to a dog holding titles in 3 of the first 9 categories.

2. The Versatility/Working Dog Excellent Certificate requires a minimum of 15 points with one point from at least 3 of the first 9 categories. One extra point will be awarded to a dog holding titles in 4 or more of the first 9 categories.

3. A maximum of 6 points from any area should encourage broad experience.
